The Puerta del Puente (Gate of the Bridge) is one of the only three doors that remain in the city of Córdoba (Spain), next to the Puerta de Almodóvar and the Puerta de Sevilla.The current door is located in an enclave where the Roman doors, as well as Muslim: Bab al-Qantara, Bab al-Wadi, Bab al-Yazira or Bab al-Sura.In Roman times it linked the city with the Roman bridge and the Via Augusta. Since 1931, the door, together with the Roman bridge and the Calahorra tower, has been declared an Asset of Cultural Interest in the monument category, and belongs to the historic center of Córdoba, declared a World Heritage Site.(1)
